Welcome!
This site should assist students and their parents as they navigate
my courses. There are also a few resources for any
mathematics student. Let's start off with a bit about me, as
well as the classes I'm teaching this year.
This is my 12th year here at CHS, and my 19th in
education. I additionally taught for two years as a Peace
Corps Volunteer in the Fiji Islands before I started teaching here
in the United States.
EDUCATION B.A. Physics: Carleton College,
Northfield MN.
National Merit Scholar, graduated with distinction in 1987.
M.S. Physics: Michigan State University, East Lansing,
MI.
Graduated in 1989.
M.Ed. Secondary Education: University of New Mexico,
Albuquerque NM.
Graduated in 1994.
ADVISORY
I will be an academic advisor for the sophomore class, along with
Mr. Agar, Ms. Callow, Mr. Myers and Mr. Olin.
COACHING I coach the 7th grade girl's volleyball
team in the fall, and the 7th grade boy's basketball in the
winter.
