Welcome to my website.
I have been teaching in the White Salmon
Schools for over 15 years, and truly enjoy the opportunities I have
to work with kids and the community to make education a great
experience for all involved. I also enjoy whitewater kayaking on
the weekends and in the summers, and I try to make it into the
wintry hills at least once a month in winter to hike, snowshoe, or
cross country ski.
In my classes I emphasize the importance of
reading and math, not just because they’re tested, but
because they form the basis of so many things in our lives.
